Are LED Light bars suitable and legal for use on public roads?_ x000D_

Most of the products we sell are legal on public roads. You can see this because they are clearly marked with an e-mark on product page level and on the packaging. You can easily find E-approved LED Light bars by setting the E-approval mark to "yes" in our filter.

Powerful LED Light bars are switched either on high beam or on a separate switch and thus will not blind oncoming traffic.

How do I install an LED Light bar on my pickup?

The method of installation depends on several things, including the type of pickup, the space you have to mount, and the characteristics of the LED Light bar itself. Are LED Light bars waterproof?

Since LED Light bars are on the outside of your pickup, they need to be able to take a beating. That's why our LED Light bars are made to withstand rain, wind and dust. We use a special code called the IP code to show how well a LED Light bar is protected. This code tells you how waterproof and dustproof the LED Light bar is. With each product, you can find this code in the product information. We have also created a picture that explains what the different codes mean.

So you know exactly how strong and durable your LED Light bar is!

Example:

When you come across an LED Light bar with IP rating 68, it means that this lamp is dustproof and waterproof.

What is the difference between a the light images: Spot, Combo and Flood?

The Spot, Flood and Combo light images differ in their spread pattern and range:

The beam of flood lighting typically covers an angle between 45 and 120 degrees and is suitable for illuminating large areas close by without specific focus. It often finds application in workplace lighting, as a reversing light or for trailers.

Combo: This hybrid form combines the features of spot and flood lighting in one fixture. It offers both wide dispersion and a far-reaching beam.

Combo lighting is particularly popular in the off-road sector because of its versatility: it illuminates both the immediate surroundings and distant objects, which is crucial in situations with limited visibility and for the timely detection of distant obstacles.
